Gardena, CA – May 7, 2024 – MILESTAR, a leader of high value performance tires, celebrates five podium finishes, clinching two top honors in the Unlimited and Sportsman B classes at the W.E. Western Series Rock Round 2 in Cedar City, Utah. These victories underscore Milestar Tires’ unwavering dedication to product advancement, as it showcases the resilience of the Patagonia tires in demanding off-road competitions.

The World Extreme Rock Crawling Championship Series is renowned for its intense rock crawling competitions, pitting man and machine against some of the most challenging rock obstacle courses in the country. At the Cedar City event, over 50 teams competed across eight classes, with teams using Milestar Patagonia M/T02 tires clinching the top podium spots in two classes. Dave Wong and spotter Nate Reed claimed first place in the Unlimited class, while Matt Black and spotter Jamie Black secured the top honors in the Sportsman B Class. Moreover, Braxton Coleman finished second in Pro Mod, and Tyler Harper and Logan Bakus finished second and third in Pro Trail, respectively. This remarkable performance highlights their dominance across four of the top five classes at W.E. Rock.

The second generation of the Patagonia M/T-02 has been carefully refined through years of input from both real-world enthusiasts and professional rock crawling competitions. Gardena, CA – Feb 29, 2024 – MILESTAR, a leader of high value performance tires, is pleased to announce five podium finishes in four different classes at the W.E.Rock rock crawling competition. Team Milestar came in strong during the 2024 round one event at Bagdad, Arizona. With eight teams in the running, their skill and determination led to multiple podium finishes.

W.E. Rock is renowned for pushing drivers and their off-road vehicles to the limit on extreme obstacle courses. The competition pits teams consisting of a driver and spotter against each other to conquer challenging terrains for time and points. This season, Milestar welcomed new talents to their roster including Dave Wong, John Hembel, Tyler Harper, Matt Black, and Crystal Hanson, joining seasoned competitors Braxton, Coleman, Brian “Woody” Swearingen, and Logan Backus.

Throughout the weekend, the Milestar teams showcased their prowess across various classes, culminating in a triumphant display of skill and dedication. Notable results include first-place finishes for Dave Wong and Braxton Colemand, as well as commendable showings from Logan Backus, Tyler Harper and Matt Black. To celebrate the achievements and foster team camaraderie, Milestar Tires continued their tradition of hosting a family dinner, bringing together competitors, families, and support crews for a memorable evening.

Gardena, CA – Feb 1, 2023 – Milestar® Tires is excited to announce a partnership with Hammerking Productions® to be the Official UTV Tire of King of the Hammers® (KOH) in 2023. The partnership builds upon Milestar’s 2022 Win in the 4500-Class with John Mathews. Milestar rolls onto the lakebed in many ways with the Patagonia SXT and SXS on all of the KOH support vehicles, a strong race contingency program for qualifying racers and two factory-backed UTV teams for the various UTV-focused competitions during race week.

The PATAGONIA SXS and SXT are both UTV and Side-By-Side specific off-road tires designed to conquer the harshest desert and rock conditions. Formulated with a cut and chip resistant, silica-enriched tread compound, the tire are capable of providing competent traction in the silt, sand and rocks. Deep, wide grooves with stone ejectors help disperse dirt and debris, while overlapping wide tread blocks maintain stability and provide sure-footed control no matter the driving conditions. The differences between the SXS and SXT are in overall construction: where the SXS has a total polyester belt package; the SXT is constructed with a Kevlar® belt package to enhance strength while keeping the tires carcass weight as light as possible.

There will be two Milestar Factory-backed teams running during the King of the Hammers UTV Race. Logan Goodall will be competing in his #1950 2019 Polaris RZR Turbo S and rolling on 34X10R15 Milestar Patagonia SXTs. Logan has competed in UTV and 4800-class cars in various classes since 2016. He took a worthy 1st Place at the 2021 Ultra4 San Felipe race in the 4800-Class. Jeff Bader will be competing in his #888 2022 Polaris Pro R shod with 34X10R15 Milestar Patagonia SXTs. He has notched multiple Spec Trophy Truck® podiums over the last few years, culminating in a class win for the 2020 SCORE Baja 1000. They both bring a diverse and competitive background to the KOH UTV races.

Patagonia SXT/SXS Popular Sizes Available: 30X10R15, 32X10R15, 34X10R15 

Gardena, CA – Feb 7, 2022 – MILESTAR, a leader of high value performance tires, is pleased to announce a team win at the 2022 Ultra4 Racing King of the Hammers – Every Man Challenge Modified Class. John Mathews of Off Track Motorsports (#4580), took the win in his custom chassis Jeep Wrangler, shod with 37X12.50R17LT Milestar Patagonia M/T tires.

John, an accomplished off-road and desert racer, added his 7th podium finish on Patagonia M/T’s in numerous off-road racing events across the country. He had an amazing qualifying earlier in the week, allowing him to start 10th out of 135 cars in the race. He maintained a solid and quick pace in Lap #1’s desert loop, but really extended his lead during the rock trails of Lap #2; which ultimately led to his 1st place finish in the Modified Class.

King of the Hammers is arguably the most grueling set of single-day off-road races in the world, and truly a battle of attrition. The Every Man Challenge race started with 135 vehicles taking the green flag, yet only 34 survived and finished the race.

Seven additional teams competed on Milestar Patagonia M/Ts during King of the Hammers week. They include Dustin Esenhour (#4472) and James Mahoney (#308) in the 4400 Class Race of Kings, and Eric Johnson (#1311), Kyle Seggelin (#617), Anthony Hadsall (#4652), Shawn Rants (#4531) and Gary Henderson (#4562) in the Every Man Challenge. Notably Kyle Seggelin is the only competitor in the entire field competing in an EV (electric vehicle).

This year’s race caps off 5+ years of continuous feedback from real-world enthusiasts and professional rock-racing and rock-crawling competitors, who have assisted in developing the second generation Patagonia M/T-02, set to debut in just a few months. The Patagonia M/T-02 garners much of the original M/T design, yet integrates all-new internal tire technologies with finite adjustments. It is engineered to be even stronger, tougher and more pliable during aggressive rock-crawling, yet harness the traits that made it one of the smoothest and quietest on-road performing M/T tires on the market.
